Another rainbow find to join the rainbow cake, and rainbow house.
I’ve added another content category of Rainbow, but the rule is that I can’t add anything to the rainbow category if I’ve deliberately gone searching for something, it’s only accidental rainbow finds :)
- making latex fashion

If you’ve ever wanted to try working with latex you would definitely be helped by the site Making Latex Clothing operated by a German girl known as Latex Kitty. There are a lot of tutorials and free patterns for items like the gauntlets shown above, for clothing like latex leggings, and lots of photos of the fashions she makes for herself and for her husband.
I really enjoyed looking through her tutorial videos and the step-by-steps for decorative flourishes like latex ruffles (frills).

Karen Walker – Turquoise Wool Peacoat
Kate Gilbert – Sweet Pea Coat pattern (I’d make this at a less awkward length)
Teva Durham – New Pea Coat pattern
Sarah Hatton (for Rowan) – Patti
It seemed like a good evening to start a list of winter clothes I like, especially ones I want to make. I have wanted to knit Patti for so long, I can see it’s been in my Ravelry queue since August 2007!
My list for jumpers is about this length, and my list of cardigans about double. I know I said this at the beginning of Summer and then did nothing about it, but I really should start my Winter knitting a season in advance… Oh & I still have a soft spot for this guy.

I love this! Nicest bathing suit I’ve seen in ages, not counting my own frilled green and white striped bikinis that is :-)
- a little bit sex pistol
-
…or a little bit The Dark Knight?
God Save The Villain, my favourite Threadless shirt for ages.
I haven’t had much time in front of my laptop to post everything I’ve wanted to in the past couple of weeks, I really do wish the WordPress app for iPhone was more flexible and robust.
Never mind :-) I’m going to try to be less neglectful this week and see how I go – and fingers crossed for more knitting motivation.

I really do like the colour yellow, such a pity it looks so dreadful against my skin.
Another pity? The fact that Anthropologie will not ship to Australia… it’s such an irritation to find companies nowadays that will not shop outside of the US.

I love these shoes from the Fall / Winter 2009 collection by Martha Davis. I’m on the look out for some interesting ankle high boots for winter… oh I really like these! Have you heard the saying, “If you need to ask how much something is you can’t afford it”? Well I think this will be the case with these boots :)
I quite like a couple of the Martha Davis look books, one page styled shoe on model, next page shoes stand alone. I feel like a shopping spree, and designing look books!
