itchy crochet fingers

It happens, sometimes I just really really want to crochet.

I’ve started a colour block crocheted blanket in a very simple double crochet stitch to keep the fabric slightly more dense and to show up the colour, my idea is to use it as a pram blanket.

But now I have the idea of a fingering weight crocheted blanket… perhaps made up from many tiny delicate granny squares, or a colourful rainbow arrangement. We’ll see, my imagination at the moment is far out-surpassing my follow through, the old attention span is very very short and it seems to be getting worse as the days progress (in the middle of my 34th week!).
