Sunshine Coast, somewhere around Mooloolaba.
I had just the nicest day last Saturday. It began with an Ikea trip where I spotted my perfect dresser, so hopefully a repeat visit this weekend! Then back up to Brisbane to visit K2 for some new climbing gear which I am so so excited about – shiny new harness and soul crushingly tight shoes, which thankfully after three days consecutive climbs are starting to feel pretty fantastic. So after K2 we headed straight up the Sunshine Coast and into Noosa, which was of course on a beautiful Summer Saturday full of tourists. We headed straight out and stopped off the main drag for some delicious German style Lebanese pita bread kebabs. The chicken had some sort of cinnamon marinade, sour cream and houmus, big fresh slices of red onion with a type of dried chilli light coating, salad, and the pita bread was just the way I like it, fresh and delicious.
The photos above were taken just before hitting the centre of Mooloolaba, I love the beautiful colours of these rocks against the bright blue and foamy white sea.
