Whisper cardigan ravelry
I’m glad I’ve finished this cardigan, but I’m not over the moon with joy about how it’s turned out. I stand by my decision to work this using smaller needles without increasing the garment size to create a close fitting cardigan with a denser fabric than was intended by the original pattern.
What I didn’t anticipate is that the continued increases on the inside edge would create a very odd shape, & with the denser fabric it kind of sticks out strangely, as thought it’s extending out into ties and I should tie them together. I should have stopped increasing stitches after I hit the bust, or at least only increased every 10 rows or so. I don’t see myself wearing this if I don’t come up with a solution for this.
I love the new singlet shirt I’m wearing under it in this photo I just took of myself. It’s not my usual style with little ruffles on the sleeves, but it works for me somehow with a very flattering square neckline. It looks perfect with the high waisted black pants I bought a little while ago, I’ve just found my new favourite outfit :)
