A Cardigan for Merry, pattern by Anny Purls
The cardigan for John’s little nephew Sean is all finished and in the post! This project took me a month to complete, longer than I expected actually, but I’m so happy with the result. I made some small sizing adjustments in the hope that it will still fit Sean next Winter, I really hope that it does because it’s August already – not many more cold weather days left for this year.
I have another friend who’s partner will give birth to their baby in October so I’m on the lookout for another baby project. They’re leaving the sex of the baby as a surprise, so if it’s a girl I’ll make a cute little cotton summer dress for her like the Little Sister’s Dress, or if it’s a boy a little top like Henry’s Pebble Vest. For either I’ll make Saartje’s Booties :)
