This is a beautiful portrait – I’m surprised it’s taken me this long to notice it but I just didn’t pay very much attention to all the entries to the Archibald Prize this year.
Ivan Durrant’s Anzac Match, M.C.G., winner of the 2009 Sulman Prize is also something I’m glad to have gone back to look at properly.
