I am in turns greatly amused & mildly disturbed by the wonderful handsewn woodland creatures made by The Vibrant City.
FROM THE WOODS, a combination of the cute and the macabre is a collection of handsewn toys disfigured by gruesome wounds.
I love them! :) She’s a local Australian artist, Industrial Designer by trade, operating from Melbourne & uses locally sourced Australian alpaca fleece.
My favourite by far is the so sweet & innocent looking Prioska… has anyone read the 4th Dexter book, Dexter By Design? At first glance Prioska made me think of Jennifer’s Leg at the beginning of the story…
I also really like the Fingers Crossed broach, although I would sit it on a shelf rather than on my chest..
