wheel of boredom
The crappy local Sunday newspaper dubbed the ferris wheel at Southbank (officially The Wheel of Brisbane) The Wheel of Boredom after reports of poor ticket sales. I do feel a bit bad calling it that as I’ve never been on it & I think it looks great from a distance, especially at night :) But the name has stuck for me & so will for ever be known as The Wheel of Boredom.
I took a long exposure shot of it the other night from the ferry, there was too much light at the dock so the results wont be great – but fingers crossed because it really does look beautiful all lit up. Yes, I am one of those people who ooohs & aaahs at fireworks ;)
Wow.. so much blue! Wish we could go up there.
It would be like the top of the world for little guinea pigs :)
