Like the police sign, I always notice this framed brick wall & enjoy the way it looks. I’m glad I stopped this day & took a picture of it.

I was disappointed with the result at first, it didn’t seem quite right – so I haven’t looked at the picture for a couple of weeks. After clearing away any ideas of how I imagined it should look, I really like it!

That’s the problem with preconceived notions I guess, if I hadn’t given it a chance I might have missed what’s really here because I thought I wanted something else.

I’m also happy with how the transparency film performed with this shot – I think the lack of soooo much extra light has a lot to do with it. Most of the other shots on this roll had major light leaks. The next roll shouldn’t be that extreme & I just need to decide whether to have it cross processed or not… the plan is to try a different lab which will give me that option.
