roast lamb & felt birds

Lamb roast :)

As a rule I don’t cook – I love to bake, cakes & biscuits especially, but when it comes to making something for dinner… I never quite get it right. Different herbs & flavours, understanding what compliments what, which ingredients will be tasty and work well together? No clue. Recipes? Pft!

I made a roast for us last night & it turned out well, and even though it’s pretty impossible to stuff up a roast, I’m pleased & looking for more pats on the head :D

I finished the first of my felt birds last night as well, luckily the finishing isn’t too wonky because John picked up some nice red to go with the lamb. Two more to go & then I’ll start on some of the designs I’ve started sketching, mainly little decorative bits & pieces :) Embroidery is fun!
